Gregg and Sharon Miller opened Paradise Coffee in
2012 after deciding retirement wasn't for them. Owning a coffee shop was on their bucket lists and finally became a reality in quaint La Veta, CO. The shop is a family affair, too--Sharon's mother, Sandy, is a welcoming face for everyone who walks in the door and the baristas (the Paradise Angels) serve hand crafted beverages with a smile.
The gourmet coffees come from two Colorado roasters: Solar Roast in Pueblo and Spanish Peaks Coffee in Colorado Springs. Homemade cinnamon rolls and muffins are baked daily and delicious panini sandwiches are made to order. Gregg's family German/Russian Meat Cabbage Pie recipe makes its Colorado debut at the shop and offers an Old World flavor.
When they aren't serving coffee and smiles at the shop, you can find Gregg and Sharon enjoying the open road on one of their four Harley Davidsons. Come in for a beverage, a bite to eat, and a chat!
